Try Again

I did not do everything that I was "supposed" to do last week, but it was not a total waste. I did get some good workouts in and I had company and went out of town, so I think that excuses the missed sessions.

swim - 1:45, 5450 yards
bike-2:05, 38 miles
run-3:40, 23.2 miles
total time-7:30

the running was a strange number because my 3 run workouts for the week consisted of a hill workout of 4.6 miles, a track session which had a 1.5 mile warm up with a 4 mile workout, and then the OKC half marathon (13.1 miles) on Sunday. All good workouts! The race was a total blast. I love that distance! Not a PR for me (in fact, my half iron triathlon runs were faster, oops!) but it was a respectable 1:54 and a lot of fun.

Moving on.

This week's schedule (4/27 - 5/3) demands 2:30 swim, 4:15 bike, and 2:10 run for a total of 8:55. This is my work week (Thursday and Friday) which makes things a little more difficult, but I should be able to squeeze it all in.
